Soulja says Baby is actively pursuing him to join the Cash Money team.

During an interview in which Soulja was talking about his new Juice mixtape, he revealed that Cash Money CEO Baby has been trying to get him to sign to his label. Speaking on his and Baby's relationship Soulja said "When I was down in Miami for a couple of weeks recording with Sean Kingston, Birdman reached out to me. He said 'come and have a meeting with me' and he told me 'yo man you'd go perfect with everything we got going on." Soulja went on to say that during the meeting Baby said he could have whatever he wanted so Baby could bring him over to Cash Money.

Fresh Gear:Boxhead Clothing

Another new clothing brand that I want people to support is Boxhead Clothing. They're just starting out and they have a couple items for sale on their website. I saw them in my twitter feed and had to check them out. I like the simplicity of their designs in their shirts and earings. I plan on getting one of these shirts and I think everyone should check out their online store here. Everything they have is pretty nice and you have to support a young brand grinding to make a name for themselves.

"Fall Back"-Yonas

If you're not familiar with Yonas's music you need to start listening to him because in my opinion he is one of the most consistent rappers out right now. All of his songs are hits and he manages to still have very good lyrics. I was drawn to him initially after hearing his song "I Could" which reminded me of the Christian rapper Lecrae. Although Yonas doesn't profess God in his songs the same way that Lecrae does you still can catch small references in most of songs. That is one reason why I respect his music because in today's music industry where Money, Cars and Hoes are glorified it takes alot of balls to rap about your faith in God. His song "Fall Back is new and does not disappoint. It is a definite download which you can get here. Other amazing songs that you need to hear by Yonas are "Yall Know", "Mindless", and "Nobody Else". Yonas is very consistent in making hits and you should definitely start listening to music. DON'T SLEEP on a amazing artist like Yonas. He needs to famous and this is the music that needs to be played on the radio to cleanse every ones ear from the "Cat Daddy" nonsense that now gets categorized as rap. Support real music.                        

Fresh Gear:Chivalrous Culture

I'm a pretty big fan of Diggy Simmons. I like his music, so far all three of mixtapes have been great. He got some well deserved recognition on the XXL freshman team. It's really nice to see a young kid like himself making a name for himself. I always liked "Runs House" it was a pretty cool show, his sister Vanessa is pretty sexy and now I have to say I like his clothing. Anyone who knows who Diggy is, knows he is very well dressed. His swag is impeccable, I remember seeing him as a pre-teen on "Runs House" wearing BBC shirts. What other eleven year old does that? Now he is venturing off on his own with his new clothing line Chivalrous Culture. Everything on there is pretty fresh. I'm a big fan of his Hamachi shoe which I am buying now as we speak in the Black Tumble colorway. His first shoe is very impressive and his website also carrys a tshirt design which you can check out on here. Obviously his line is just starting out because it doesn't have very many products but stay posted because it is a sure thing that Diggy will most definitely be putting out more fresh gear in the future.

God's Little Gift To The World:March 7th-8th

In case everybody doesn't know March 7th and 8th are two enormous days for music in my opinion. On March 7th OCD:Moosh and Twist's "Up Before The World" Mixtape drops and on March 8th Lupe Fiasco's album "Lazers" drops. Both are highly anticipated "Up Before the World" is OCD:Moosh and Twist's second mixtape after their first one "Never Never Land" was a huge success. After generating a large buzz over the Internet as of late OCD is in the a position to blow up and become famous. Basically "Up Before the World" is going to be their coming out party and they will gain many new fans from it so everyone needs to check that out because it is most definitely going to be one of the best mixtapes of the year. Lupe Fiasco's "Lasers" is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year mostly because of Lupe's highly publicized feuds with his label regarding release dates. I'm predicting it to win a grammy. It has been pushed back many times but now it is finally coming out and everyone needs to go out and BUY it. Yes I said BUY it. I'm not type of person who typically buys music just because it's alot easier to just download it for free but Lupe Fiasco in my opinion is the best rapper out right now and if you don't support his album you're pretty much not supporting music. And lastly I would like to thank God for blessing us with these two awesome projects coming out so close together. Stay posted for more updates.

Fresh Gear: Morning Wood Jewelry Line

By now I'm sure everyone has seen somebody wearing wooden jesus pieces and other necklaces created by the "Good Wood" company. I have seen this guy Eric Lowry post his pictures of his company "Morning Wood Jewelry" in my Facebook timeline for a couple of months now and I felt that I had to share it with you because he is incredibly talented and his pieces need to be seen.  All of his wood pieces are custom made. He does anything from pins to chains and pretty much everything he has made is dope. He also runs the Freshman Clothing shop in Detroit. If you're not familiar with Dusty McFly he is a rap artist from Detroit, MI. He was featured on the song "Iraq" on Big Sean's mixtape "UKNOWBIGSEAN". All of his tracks are bangers and his new freestyle over the "9 Piece" by Rick Ross beat doesn't disappoint. Au Courant (White Buffs) can be downloaded here at usershare. He is a part of the Finally Famous music group along with Big Sean, SAYITAINTTONE, Earlly Mac and Jwan. His new highly anticipated project "Buffies and Benihannas" which was supposed to come out summer of 2010 (I don't know what it is with the Finally Famous group and release dates, e.g. Big Sean's Finally Famous 3's long wait, Finally Famous 3 no dj version's long wait) is dropping soon so keep on the look out. Even with the long wait the tape is for sure  to be fresh already filled with bangers like "Brick Fare", "Jose" and "Twerkin". So don't sleep on this track and make sure to download it, it is a must have on your ipod to be bumping in the car or in the headphones getting pumped up for the big game.

I live for good music and Chavis Chandler's "Breath of Fresh Air" mixtape is music to live too. For those that don't know Chavis Chandler, he is a young rapper from Detroit, MI and is part of the Verbal Vomit Entertainment group which includes two rappers from Philadelphia: Moosh and Twist who formed the group OCD:Moosh and Twist who are building a buzz over the internet with the help of Rex Arrow and other talented music video directors with their songs "City Kids", "Live It Up"  and "Wake Up" all on their upcoming highly anticipated mixtape "Up Before the World" which is expected to drop very soon. If you didn't hear their first mixtape "Never Never Land" it a definite download full of dope tracks. Chavis Chandler's preformance on "Breath of Fresh Air" is similar to that of KanYe Wests "The College Dropout" as he flows over sample heavy soulful hip-hop beats touching on everyday issues that everyone can relate to. It is rare to see a young rapper spitting such real lyrics and painting such beautiful picture that his verses illustrate.
